Keeping toasty!

Keeping toasty!

Those icy cold days and nights are fast approaching.

With this week’s temperature dropping to -4 in some places.

How is everyone keeping toasty?

If you’re sitting in a cold office or home and the heatings has been turned down, which hot drink do you make to keep yourself warm? coffee? tea? Honey and lemon? herbal tea? How about hot chocolate? Maybe a bowl of hot soup is also very welcoming and helps to keep you full. Hot drinks increase blood circulation and therefore will keep your body warmer for longer.

Taking a gentle walk each day if you have the chance is also a great way to get warm and take in some fresh air and help with one’s mental health. Taking along a flask with your favourite hot drink will be nice. Find yourself a bench, enjoy your hot brew whilst being surrounded by nature and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
